Sasnovich ousts Kasatkina in Sydney first-round meeting

MINSK, 9 January (BelTA) – Qualifier Aliaksandra Sasnovich (WTA No.33) of Belarus ousted Russia's Daria Kasatkina (WTA No.10) 6:1, 6:4 in the first-round match in Sydney on 8 January, BelTA has learned.

Aliaksandra Sasnovich will take on another qualifier Priscilla Hon (WTA No.161) of Australia in the second-round meeting of the tournament.
