MINSK, 20 March (BelTA) – Minchanka Minsk and VC Stuttgart (Germany) will meet again for the second-leg of their 2018 Women's CEV Cup semifinal on 20 March, BelTA has learned.
Last week, the Belarusians coached by Viktor Goncharov beat Germany's vice champion away 3:2 (25:15, 22:25, 25:21, 11:25, 15:8). To make it to the final, Minchanka Minsk need to secure a home victory in Minsk. In case of Minchanka's 2:3 loss, a golden set will determine the winner. The CEV Cup semifinal second leg between Minchanka Minsk and VC Stuttgart will take place in Uruchye Sports Center at 19:00. The match will be broadcast live on Belarus 5 TV Channel.
Belarus' champions have made it to the CEV Cup top 4 for the first time ever. Throughout the tournament, they saw off Serbia's Jedinstvo (3:1, 3:0), France's Beziers VB (2:3, 3:1), and Russia's Uralochka (3:1, 3:0).
The other semifinal second leg will see Eczacibasi (Turkey) take on Schweriner (Germany).
