MINSK, 24 October (BelTA) – Rob Klinkhammer scored two, one on the power play and the other shorthanded, as HC Dinamo Minsk defeated HC Sochi 5-2 in the KHL action in Minsk on 23 October, BelTA has learned.
Matt Ellison and Artur Gavrus were the other goal scorers for the winning side.
Sochi got on the scoreboard in the third period, with Yegor Morozov and Ivan Zakharchuk finding a way past Ben Scrivens.
After the win over HC Sochi the Bisons moved to the sixth spot in the Western Conference table. The Belarusian team scored 40 points in 22 games. Dinamo Minsk will next play against Lokomotiv Yaroslavl on 27 October.
