BREST, 4 October (BelTA) – HC Meshkov Brest beat Croatia's HC Nexe 35-23 on the home ground in the SEHA League on 3 October, BelTA has learned.
The Brest team took a solid start in the game and secured a comfortable advantage just several minutes later. The guests started fighting back at the end of the first half and the teams went to the first break with a minimal gap 14-13.
In the second half Nexe leveled the score just before HC Meshkov Brest took the lead and extended the advantage to five goals. Later, the Brest team doubled the advantage to make the final score 35-23.
HC Meshkov Brest will next play Mogilev's Masheka on 4 October as part of the Belarusian handball championship.
