MINSK, 24 March (BelTA) - 2024 Rhythmic Gymnastics World Cup continues in Athens, Greece, BelTA has learned.
The only Belarusian athlete - the leader of the national team, Tokyo Olympic medalist Alina Harnasko is competing in the tournament. On Saturday, the girls finished the all-around program. The day before, after the hoop and ball routines the Belarusian was only 12th among 52 participants, but thanks to the successful execution of the ribbon and clubs routines, Alina Harnasko rose to the third position in the final protocol with 125,000 points. The first and second places were taken by Bulgaria’s Elvira Krasnobaeva (131,100) and Eva Brezalieva (130,350).
Alina Harnasko will also compete in the ribbon individual final. She also scored the ninth total in the clubs and is a reserve athlete for the final.
