MINSK, 14 November (BelTA) – Belarus' national football team drew 2-2 with Georgia to wrap up the 2016-2017 season on 13 November, BelTA has learned.
Captain of the Belarusian team Igor Stasevich opened the scoring in the 24th minute. Irakli Sikharulidze utilized the moment to level off the game ten minutes later. Soon after the game resumed Lasha Dvali placed Georgia in front for 2-1. Fifteen minutes later Pavel Nekhaichik made it 2-2.
Team Belarus coach Igor Kriushenko tested many young players in the yesterday's game. Two netminders Sergei Ignatovich and Pavel Pavlovets made their debut for the Belarusian national team.
