MINSK, 26 July (BelTA) – BATE Borisov drew 0-0 with HJK Finland in the first leg of the UEFA Champions League second qualifying round on 25 July, BelTA informs.
The hosts kept pressure on the guests throughout the game at Borisov Arena, but were held by resolute HJK.
The return leg is due in Helsinki on 1 August.
The tie winner will face either Kukes (Albania) or Qarabag (Azerbaijan). Their first leg in Shkoder ended in 0-0 draw as well. The second leg is scheduled for 1 August in Baku.
