MINSK, 19 June (BelTA) – Aryna Sabalenka of Belarus, ranked 43 in the world, lost 6-3, 4-6, 2-6 to Belgium's world number 44 Alison Van Uytvanck in the round of Last 32 at the Mallorca Open in Spain, BelTA informs.
World number 85 Victoria Azarenka will face Aleksandra Krunic of Serbia (World No.39) who won the Rosmalen Grass Court Championships in Hertogenbosch, the Netherlands last week. Belarus' world number 51 Aliaksandra Sasnovich will learn her opponent once the qualifying round is over.
Victoria Azarenka will pair with Russia's Svetlana Kuznetsova to face the American duet of Kaitlyn Christian and Sabrina Santamaria, while Aryna Sabalenka and Russia's Veronika Kudermetova will take on the Belarusian-Dutch tandem of Lidziya Marozava and Lesley Kerkhove.
