Alina Talay 3rd at IAAF World Challenge in Berlin

MINSK, 28 August (BelTA) – Alina Talay of Belarus set a new personal best time to finish third at the IAAF World Challenge meeting in Berlin, BelTA has learned.

The Belarusian covered the 100m Hurdles distance in 12.72 seconds. Christina Manning of the United States clocked 12.54 seconds to clinch gold. Danielle Williams of Jamaica came in second in 12.58 seconds.

Alina Talay recorded her previous best time of 12.81 seconds at the IAAF World Championships London 2017 when she finished sixth.

2015 world champion in 800m event Marina Arzamasova finished fifth (1:27.05) in the 600m event in Berlin. The race was won by Caster Semenya of the Republic of South Africa (1:21.77).
