Minsk's Frunzensky District twins with China's Jilin City

MINSK, 17 September (BelTA) – Minsk's Frunzensky District and China's Jilin City have signed a twin-town agreement, BelTA learned from the Frunzensky District administration.

The document was signed by Frunzensky District administration head Artem Tsuran and Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress of Jilin City Li Xiangdong.

Artem Tsuran noted that a cooperation agreement was signed a year ago; the current agreement will open a new page in the bilateral cooperation. Promising cooperation avenues include joint projects in the construction industry, education, tourism and food supplies.

A cooperation agreement was also signed between Minsk Gymnasium No. 33 and Jilin School No. 2.

The Chinese delegation visited the China-Belarus Industrial Park Great Stone and the Politekhnik science park of the Belarusian National Technical University.
