MINSK, 10 July (BelTA) – Belarusian Ambassador to Syria Alexander Ponomarev has met with Syrian Prime Minister Imad Khamis to discuss supplies of Belarusian trucks and buses to Syria, BelTA learned from the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus.
“The parties discussed a wide range of issues of the Belarusian-Syrian cooperation, including the supplies of automotive vehicles and buses for the country's reconstruction needs, as well as the prospects for industrial cooperation,” the press service said.
The parties also reviewed the progress in the preparation of the seventh session of the joint intergovernmental commission due in Damascus on 4-5 September 2018.
