Belarus, Estonia discuss military cooperation development prospects

MINSK, 9 June (BelTA) – Belarus and Estonia have discussed the prospects of developing military cooperation, BelTA learned from the Defense Ministry of Belarus.

“On 9 June, Major General Oleg Voinov, the head of the International Military Cooperation Department – aide to the defense minister of Belarus for international military cooperation, met with the representatives of the Estonian delegation. The sides shared opinions about topical issues of regional security and the prospects of developing military cooperation,” the representatives of the Defense Ministry said.

The Estonian parliamentary delegation led by Chairman of the National Defense Committee of the Estonian parliament Hannes Hanso arrived in Minsk on 8 June. As part of the visit the delegation of Estonia will visit the Military Academy of Belarus.
