MINSK, 21 July (BelTA) – The candidature of Chairman of the CIS Executive Committee - CIS Executive Secretary Sergei Lebedev was approved as head of the CIS observation mission at the presidential election in Kyrgyzstan, BelTA learned from the press service of the CIS Executive Committee.
The candidacy of the head of the observation mission was coordinated at a meeting of the CIS Plenipotentiaries Council on 20 July.
The presidential election in Kyrgyzstan is scheduled for 15 October 2017.
