Belarus' observer status in BSPC discussed in Brussels

MINSK, 24 January (BelTA) – Belarus and the Baltic Sea Parliamentary Conference (BSPC) discussed the prospects of strengthening cooperation, the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of Belarus informed BelTA following the meeting of the Standing Committee of the Baltic Sea Parliamentary Conference in Brussels. The meeting was attended by Chairman of the House of Representatives' Permanent Commission on International Affairs Valery Voronetsky.

The parties talked over further development of cooperation between Belarus and the Baltic Sea Parliamentary Conference, including the prospects of granting the National Assembly of Belarus with an observer status in the BSPC.

Valery Voronetsky also met with BSPC Vice President Janis Vucans, Director General of the Council of the Baltic Sea States Maira Mora, and other participants of the events.
