Belarus, France praise robust interparliamentary contacts

MINSK, 25 June (BelTA) – Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus Oleg Kravchenko has met with the delegation of the France-Belarus Friendship Group of the National Assembly of France led by Christophe Lejeune, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The parties pointed to active interparliamentary contacts between the two countries. They also discussed the state and prospects of the bilateral cooperation, including possible contribution of the friendship groups of the two parliaments to the expansion of political and economic contacts between the two countries. By the way, the France-Belarus Friendship Group marks its 25th anniversary in 2018.

The parties exchanged views on the prospects of the Belarus-EU dialogue and discussed topical issues of the international agenda.
