Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko received a set of exclusive Christmas tree decorations as he talked to the media on 29 December. The journalists chose the design themselves. The hand-painted Christmas glass baubles feature landmarks from across Belarus – the ancient Polotsk, Mir and Nesvizh castles, the Palace of Independence, sports and religious sites, the Belovezhskaya Pushcha, and many other places.
