Krasny Bereg Memorial in Zhlobin District

The memorial is dedicated to the children victims of the Great Patriotic War. It was unveiled in the village of Krasny Bereg on 28 June 2007. The memorial was erected at the site of the former largest children's concentration camp. The Nazis forcibly took away children from their mothers and used as blood-donors for wounded German officers. According to the documents, some 1990 children died in the concentration camp. Those who survived were sent to work in Germany.

This place is often called “Children's Khatyn”. The memorial is unmatched not only in Belarus but also across the world.
