The international festival of circus art opened in Minsk on 21 September.
Taking part in the festival are about 100 artists from 16 countries: Belarus, Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Latvia, Lithuania, Hungary, Romania, Germany, Australia, Vietnam, the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, Egypt, Ethiopia and the United States. The three-day competitions will be divided into two programs and the jury will select the participants for the gala concert which is to take place on 24 September. The jury comprises famous circus producers and directors. The festival of circus art is funded by the Belarusian State Circus, Belarusian Potash Company (general sponsor), and the Minsk City Hall.
