Sichuan Province of China is interested in setting up a joint venture with Belarus to manufacture electric buses. Relevant plans were discussed during a meeting between Liu Jie, Vice Governor of Sichuan Provincial People's Government, and Nikolai Rogashchuk, Acting Deputy Head of Minsk City Hall, at the mechanical engineering company Belkommunmash on 16 February. The parties cut a red ribbon to mark the beginning of partner relations and took a tour of Minsk on an electric bus.
