On 2 June Brest played host to a charity ball to support visually challenged children. Princess Tania de Bourbon Parme was a special guest at the event.
The ball featured a charity auction. Among the lots, offered by partners and sponsors, were paintings by Brest artists. The money raised will be used to do a makeover at the Zhabinka special general education boarding school.
The event was organized by the Promenada project, the Brest charity local fund New Generation, and the Zhabinka special general education boarding school.
