MINSK, 9 November (BelTA) – President of the National Olympic Committee Viktor Lukashenko has congratulated Belarus’ national trampolining team on successful performance at world championships in Spain, the NOC press service told BelTA.
During the planetary forum Belarusian athletes won three gold medals and a silver one. Ivan Litvinovich, Sebastsyan Stankevich, and Andrei Builou won medals in the Trampoline Men Team Final while Iana Lebedeva, Viyaleta Bardzilouskaya, Katsiaryna Yarshova came in second in the Trampoline Women Team Final. Apart from that, Katsiaryna Yarshova and Stanislau Yaskevich won the Synchronized Trampoline Mixed Final competition. Andrei Builou and Ivan Litvinovich were victorious in the Synchronized Trampoline Men Final.
“The four medals won by Belarusian athletes at the planetary forum have once again demonstrated the highest level of our trampoline school to the whole world. Thanks to hard work and dedication, smooth teamwork, the talent of our athletes, and the wise support and professionalism of the coaching staff, it was possible to achieve such a remarkable success. Belarus is proud of you! Millions of fans are celebrating your triumph!” the message reads.
Andrei Builou came in sixth in the Individual Trampoline Men Final event while the Belarusian girls Katsiaryna Yarshova and Iana Lebedeva came in sixth and eighth respectively.
