MINSK, 29 March (BelTA) - Belarus’ Vasilina Khandoshka earned her second individual medal at the World Aquatics Artistic Swimming World Cup 2026 in Paris, BelTA has learned.
On the final day of competition, soloists determined the winners in the Women’s Solo Free. Khandoshka scored 268.54 points to take second place among 19 competitors, trailing only Germany’s Klara Bleyer (276.89). Russia’s Valeriia Plekhanova rounded out the podium in third. Earlier in Paris, Vasilina had won gold in the Women’s Solo Technical.
At the first stage in Colombia’s Medellin in February, Khandoshka took bronze and finished fourth once. In last season’s World Cup, Vasilina stepped onto the podium six times (1-1-4), and the Belarusian also claimed two medals at the 2025 World Aquatics Championships in Singapore.
Belarus’ Anastasiya Dabravolskaya and Aliaksandra Mironchyk competed in Paris, twice breaking into the top ten in duet (6th in Duet Technical and 10th in Duet Free). The third stage of the World Aquatics Artistic Swimming World Cup 2026 will take place in China in early May.
