MINSK, 24 October (BelTA) – Belarus' Igor Lozko has claimed the 77kg gold at the ongoing 2018 European Junior Weightlifting Championships in Poland's Zamosc, BelTA has learned.
The Belarusian made it 327kg (145kg + 182kg) overall to claim the European champion title. Second was Rafik Arutyunian of Armenia who lifted a total of 326kg (146kg+180kg). Bronze went to Przemyslaw Korneluk of Poland with a combined total of 316kg (142kg+174kg).
Earlier, Gennady Laptev of Belarus won gold in the 62kg weight category. Silver medals were clinched by Lyudmila Psyshchanitsa (Pankova) and Darya Teveleva. Bronze was bagged by Suzanna Volodko.
