MINSK, 6 May (BelTA) – The German Football League plans to resume play on 15 May once the country eases coronavirus-related restrictive measures, TASS informs citing Reuters.
The matter will be discussed among other issues during a conference call of Chancellor Angela Merkel with the country's state premiers on 6 May.
If the German Football League gets the go-ahead to restart the season, matches will be played without spectators.
The German Football League suspended its fixtures on 13 March. The Belarusian Football Championship has been so far the only one in Europe to continue its season.
