MINSK, 3 April (BelTA) -The Kontinental Hockey League has determined the best players of the first round in the 2026 KHL playoffs, BelTA learned from the KHL press service.
HC Dinamo Minsk goaltender Zach Fucale has been named the best goalie for the first time in his career. In the play-off series against HC Dynamo Moscow, the Canadian won four out of four games with a goals-against average of 0.89. Zach allowed no more than one goal in any of those games. Fucale saved 104 of 108 shots (96.3%).
CSKA forward Denis Guryanov, Metallurg's young player Mikhail Fyodorov and Ak Bars defenseman Mitchell Miller were named best players of the Gagarin Cup playoffs’ first round. HC Dinamo Minsk will take on HC Ak Bars in the quarterfinals. The best-of-seven series gets underway at Minsk Arena on 9 April, with game two set for the same venue on 11 April.
