MINSK, 10 November (BelTA) – The National Olympic Committee (NOC) of the Republic of Belarus has hosted a meeting of the commission on the work with federations, BelTA learned from the NOC press service.
Representatives of draughts, American soccer, pankration and mixed martial arts, fire and rescue sport, outfit and classical powerlifting federations temporarily recognized by NOC spoke about their activities, successes and achievements, and shared their opinion on the development of these disciplines. In addition, the meeting participants also considered the activity of the sporting federation (sport shooting), which is not recognized by the NOC.
Special attention was paid to the activities of the flying disc and bandy federations. The decision on the extension and recognition of these organizations was submitted by the commission to the meeting of the Executive Board of the NOC of Belarus.
