MINSK, 19 November (BelTA) – Belarusian athletes won 33 medals at the Viktor Liventsev Memorial Tournament that completed in Minsk on 18 November, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Boxing Federation.
Taking part in the competitions were athletes from Belarus, Azerbaijan, Hungary, Kazakhstan, Congo, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan. Belarusian athletes claimed six gold, 11 silver and 16 bronze medals. Champion titles went to Maksim Pankou (60kg), Uladzislau Smolauski (63.5kg), Kanstantsin Zagarouski (71kg), Aliaksei Koktikau (80kg), Yuliya Apanasovich (52kg), and Aryna Danilchyk (70kg).
Silver medals were collected by Dzianis Salotskikh, Ramil Aliyeu, Artur Tuniyeu, Daniil Tsitko, Uladzislau Barysevich, Artyom Tsikhamolau, Mikita Nagorny, Viyaleta Zhvirydouskaya, Tatsiana Trushkina, Margarita Kiseleva, and Viktoryya Kebikava.
Bronze medals were secured by Daniil Kokarev, Dzmitry Dvornichenka, Vitas Gartsuyev, Stefan Shparun, Aliaksei Hatsakou, Yauheni Hrbachou, Maksim Govarau, Nikan Zhytnikovich, Aliaksandr Mikhaskou, Artur Abdulau, Kiryl Duhar, Siarhei Lysiuk, Iryna Vinagradava, Yana Burym, Valeryia Novikava and Valeriya Strizhak. Russia won the biggest number of gold medals (13).
