MINSK, 1 April (BelTA) – Russia’s Bashkortostan plans to resume air service with Belarus in 2026, Bashkortostan’s Prime Minister Andrei Nazarov said at a session of the region’s State Assembly, TASS reports.
“This year, along with maintaining the current route network, we plan to increase the frequency of regional flights and open new international routes,” he said, noting that the resumption of direct air service with Belarus is also planned.
In January, the press service of the National Union of the Tourism Industry of Belarus told BelTA that Belarus and Bashkortostan intend to develop joint tourism projects and noted that Belarus confidently ranks among the most popular destinations for residents of Bashkortostan.
