MINSK, 3 December (BelTA) – In the latest episode of the V Teme [On Point] project on BelTA’s YouTube channel, Russian political scientist and orientalist Karine Gevorgyan expressed the opinion that Donald Trump needs to introduce a dictatorship.
Commenting on the political situation in the US, Karine Gevorgyan outlined the optimal style of governance for Donald Trump. “To concentrate power in his hands, given the tenuous functioning of American domestic political institutions, he needs to ensure the introduction of a dictatorship. By the way, this has happened in America before. Franklin Roosevelt introduced a de facto dictatorship. It happened. It’s not that America has never experienced this. His task is to do the same,” she said.

According to the expert, the American leader is not taking rash steps. “That’s why 700 select, loyal special forces soldiers were withdrawn from the military base in Romania. That Afghan immigrant who wounded two National Guard soldiers [the incident near the White House] also played into his hands. Just like the introduction of this 28-point peace plan, it exposed all the strengths and weaknesses of his enemies both inside and outside the country,” Karine Gevorgyan emphasized.
