MINSK, 27 June (BelTA) – More than 88,000 foreign nationals have visited Belarus since it reopened border for visa waiver arrivals from Lithuania and Latvia on 15 April 2022, BelTA learned from the State Border Committee of Belarus.
"For eight weeks since 15 April, 88,649 foreign citizens took advantage of the opportunity to visit Belarus without a visa. Among them there were 58,697 citizens of Lithuania, 7,593 aliens and 22,359 citizens of Latvia.
On 24-27 June, Belarus hosted 5,212 arrivals: 3,515 citizens of Lithuania, 1,324 citizens and 373 aliens of Latvia," the State Border Committee said.
