MOSCOW, 26 March (BelTA) – The press service of the Belarusian Embassy in Russia told a BelTA correspondent that one more Belarusian was on the updated list of people who were killed in the Moscow terrorist attack.
“The Embassy of Belarus has learned that the updated list of those killed in the terrorist attack in Krasnogorsk, published by Russia’s
Ministry of Civil Defence, Emergencies and Disaster Relief, includes Vadim Aleksandrovich Kulik,” said Embassy Press Secretary Aleksei Vasilkov.
“A Belarusian citizen, born in 1981, who worked as a security guard at Crocus City Hall matches the description. He was unaccounted for after the terrorist attack,” the press secretary clarified.
“Since Saturday morning, the embassy has been in touch with his relatives and colleagues. Identification of the bodies has been difficult; DNA samples have been taken from the relatives today,” added Aleksei Vasilkov.
He also asked journalists to respect the privacy of the families of the victims.
This brings the number of Belarusians killed in the terrorist attack to two. Earlier, a Belarusian citizen born in 1978 was reported dead. Another citizen of Belarus, Alim Koshevarov, who worked as a security guard at Crocus City Hall, received bullet wounds during the terrorist attack and is now in extremely critical condition in the Botkin Hospital in Moscow.
