MINSK, 28 February (BelTA) – The Council of Ministers’ resolution No.127 of 27 February 2024 has stipulated the description and the image of a warning sign designed to mark the security zone with a special legal regime around the Belarusian nuclear power plant, BelTA learned from the national legal information registry.
The sign will be made as a metal screen as large as 600mm by 1,200mm.

The sign will have white inscriptions on a blue background. “Security zone with a special legal regime”, “The republican unitary enterprise Belarusian Nuclear Power Plant” will be in the top part. A contact phone number and the nuclear power plant’s official website address will be below those. A QR code with a link to the regulation on the special legal status of the security zone around the Belarusian nuclear power plant in accordance with the Council of Ministers’ resolution No.668 of 9 October 2023 will be on the right side. The bottom part will read “Passage restricted”, “Violations of the special legal regime will be punished in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Belarus”.
Limits of the security zone around the Belarusian nuclear power plant are stipulated by the Council of Ministers’ resolution No.668 of 9 October 2023.
The Council of Ministers’ resolution No.127 of 27 February 2024 has been passed in accordance with law No.208-3 of 10 October 2022 on regulating safety during use of atomic energy.
The resolution will come into force as of the official publication date.
