MINSK, 24 May (BelTA) – The national round of the International Financial Security Olympiad for undergraduate and postgraduate university students who major in international relations, economics, or law is underway at Belarusian State University (BSU), BelTA learned from the BSU press service.
Participants are required to write an essay in the Russian language on one of 22 suggested topics in law, international relations, economics, finances, lending, or economic security.
Authors of the best essays will make part of the national team that will participate in the educational program of the Olympiad in Russia's Sochi on 3-9 October. The program will include seminars, master classes, roundtables, debates, and meetings to discuss financial security and informational, financial, and legal literacy.
Applications will be open until 6 June.
The olympiad will also feature national rounds in Russia, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan.
The national round in Belarus is organized by the Financial Monitoring Department of the State Control Committee, the BSU, and Belarusian State Economic University. The international olympiad is organized by the Federal Financial Monitoring Service of Russia.
