
MINSK, 13 August (BelTA) – Chairman of the Central Election Commission (CEC) of Belarus Igor Karpenko and First Deputy Secretary General of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) Igor Petrishenko discussed preparations for the 2nd International Electoral Forum on 13 August, the CEC press service told BelTA.
The forum will become a venue where professionals and everyone else taking an interest in the electoral law and electoral technologies will be able to have an open discussion. The central event of the forum will be an international science to practice conference on forming the legal culture of the population as a factor of harmonization and stability of the election process.
The forum will also include a roundtable session on challenges and opportunities of the electoral culture in the youth environment, a panel discussion on problems and solutions concerning the spiritual and moral foundations of forming the legal awareness and the legal culture of young people.
