MINSK, 3 February (BelTA) – Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has already started working on the address to the Belarusian people and the Belarusian People’s Congress, Head of the Belarus President Administration Dmitry Krutoi told the Belarus 1 TV channel, BelTA reports.
“The president has already started working on the address to the Belarusian people and the Belarusian People’s Congress. In his address he will outline the contours of the socio-economic development program for the next five years in the follow-up to his election program. Therefore, in order to familiarize himself with all the issues, he wants to talk to respective specialists and hold thematic events,” the head of the Belarus President Administration said.
According to him, the preparations will primarily include discussions of economic topics and visits to enterprises. One of the most immediate topics is microelectronics. “Microelectronics has made solid gains over the last two years. Resources have been allocated, including budgetary ones. The president wants to get updates on how his tasks and instructions are implemented,” Dmitry Krutoi noted. “He will also discuss cooperation prospects in this field with the Russian Federation and the People's Republic of China in the next five years.”
