Kochanova: Belarusian companies are capable of making competitive products

SLAVGOROD, 23 April (BelTA) – Belarusian manufacturers have everything in place to make competitive products, Chair of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly Natalya Kochanova said as she toured the Krasny Pischevik – Slavgorod company, BelTA has learned.

Natalya Kochanova was shown the company's production facilities, where a honey bottling line was commissioned in 2020. There are plans to process up to 300 tonnes of honey of various types. Short-term plans include the production of mono-floral (sunflower, rapeseed, flower) honey and creamed honey with cranberries, blueberries, strawberries, bee pollen and propolis, cherries, lemons, ginger and walnuts. These products are to be rolled out soon.

In addition, Natalya Kochanova was briefed on the progress in implementing a major investment project – construction of a new building on the premises of Krasny Pischevik - Slavgorod. A modern line to produce marmalade and jelly sweets will be located there. Director of Krasny Pischevik, member of the Council of the Republic Sergei Anyukhovsky noted that the project is proceeding as scheduled and the first batch of marmalade is to see the light of the day in November this year. “Now we are preparing premises for the new marmalade production line. We will use German machinery. All equipment has already been purchased,” Sergei Anyukhovsky said.

According to the director, the new marmalade production line will meet the domestic needs for high-quality and healthy sweets.

The delegation from Minsk was offered to taste the products the company makes. As Natalya Kochanova noted, Belarusian enterprises have everything they need to create competitive products.
