MINSK, 3 March (BelTA) - In 2023, eleven carriers operated regular flights to/from Minsk National Airport, director general of the airport Vyacheslav Khoroneko said in an interview with BelTA.
"Last year, the airport had its focus on the following areas: cost optimization, attracting new air carriers in order to expand the route network and increase the airport's revenues, and maintaining and replenishing its own working capital," said Vyacheslav Khoroneko.
He also noted that systemic work is being carried out with air carriers to open and resume regular flights to Minsk. Particular attention is paid to the development of air communication between Belarus and the Russian Federation.
