MINSK, 10 January (BelTA) - Journalists from the president’s press pool joined the snow removal efforts and helped clear snow on the grounds of the Minsk city social boarding house Rodnik on 9 January, BelTA reports the Telegram channel Pul Pervogo.
On Friday a special tone was set by Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko who took up the task of clearing snowdrifts. "When the president picks up a snow shovel, the journalists don't stay aside! Especially when others need help,” the Telegram channel said.
Over the course of a few hours, journalists from the president’s press pool cleared all the roads on the grounds of the Minsk city social boarding house Rodnik. The facility houses 440 residents, including the elderly and wheelchair users. Thanks to the assistance with snow clearing, it will now be easier to arrange food deliveries and, when necessary, ensure timely medical access.
