MINSK, 6 December (BelTA) - The Belarusian government has approved the statistical work program for 2026. This is stipulated in Resolution No. 700 of 3 December 2025, which has been officially published on the national legal internet portal, BelTA has learned.
In 2026, Belarus plans to conduct a variety of statistical surveys covering important areas of social and economic life. In particular, research will be carried out on population statistics, labor, household income, and consumption, which will provide up-to-date data on demographic and social processes. Furthermore, the program includes the housing stock, agriculture, forestry and energy statistical work and surveys in construction, fixed capital investment, and many other areas.
This comprehensive approach will ensure a thorough analysis of the country's social and economic development and will contribute to the formation of timely and accurate official statistical information for government bodies and the public.
The resolution comes into effect on 1 January 2026.
