MINSK, 11 July (BelTA) – The Belarusian Embassy in Bulgaria, which also oversees the cooperation with Greece, keeps in contact with the appropriate authorities in the wake of the heavy storms in Greece, BelTA learned from the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
At the moment, the embassy has no information that any of Belarusian citizens died or suffered as a result of the storms. “No one has applied to the embassy for consular assistance,” the ministry said.
As BelTA reported earlier, several foreign tourists have been killed and dozens more have been injured after tornadoes and violent hailstorms hit the Halkidiki peninsula.
