MINSK, 9 December (BelTA) – Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Vietnam Vladimir Borovikov and the staff of the Belarusian Embassy took part in the 12th International Food Festival in Hanoi, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Embassy in Vietnam.
The event featured over 130 pavilions presenting national cuisines and souvenirs from more than 50 countries. The event introduced guests to the cuisine of Vietnam and other countries, fostered cultural and artistic exchanges and charity activities.
Attending the festival were over 10,000 people. They tried traditional Belarusian dishes: draniki, kolduns, sweets and pastries prepared by Belarusian diplomats and their family members. The festival was widely covered by the local media.
The event was organized by the Diplomatic Corps Service Department of the Vietnamese Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
