VITEBSK, 28 November (BelTA) - An evening of Belarusian contemporary choreography was held at the Vitebsk Concert Hall as part of the International Festival of Modern Choreography.



In the second part, Kirill Baltrukov and other artists presented a contemporary interpretation of Nikolai Gogol's classic novella “The Overcoat. Gogol”. By trying on the role of the “little man” through the lens of the modern world, they draw parallels and engage in deep reflection.
The audiences saw two performances. The first part featured the monoperformance “One Man Ball| by world-class artist Vladislav Kostyuchenko. The audiences witnessed a unique synthesis of sport, choreography, and acting. Vladislav Kostyuchenko creates experimental performances where the ball becomes a full-fledged partner in the dance, and improvisation opens new boundaries of stage art.
