Belarus, Uzbekistan outline over 110 areas of cooperation in healthcare

TASHKENT, 8 February (BelTA) – Belarus and Uzbekistan have outlined over 110 areas of cooperation in healthcare, Uzbekistan President Shavkat Mirziyoyev said at the talks with Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko in Tashkent, BelTA has learned.


“We have outlined more than 110 areas of interaction in the field of healthcare. These are child health, cardiology, oncology, hematology and others,” said Shavkat Mirziyoyev.


In turn, Aleksandr Lukashenko assured that Belarus is ready to lend a helping hand to Uzbekistan in healthcare. “We are ready to assist you in every way we can, we can come, launch this clinic, help staff it, and teach your people obstetrics. We will be helping you until the personnel are trained. We are obliged to help women,” said the head of state.
