MINSK, 23 April (BelTA) – Checking the implementation of the Belarusian president's instructions is one of the key areas of work for the State Control Committee, Chairman of the State Control Committee Vasily Gerasimov said at a joint meeting of the House of Representatives and the Council of the Republic, BelTA has learned.
Vasily Gerasimov noted that the State Control Committee oversees the fulfillment of more than half of all the president's instructions. These instructions are critically important for the sustainable development of the country and improvement of living standards of the population. “Our common task with the implementers is to make sure that all instructions are fulfilled conscientiously, in full and on time; we also seek to bring the number of unfulfilled instructions to zero,” the head of the State Control Committee emphasized.
While monitoring the execution of the instructions of the head of state, the State Control Committee interacts with everyone involved at all implementation stages, especially with the government as it is the main implementer and coordinator of the overwhelming majority of instructions.
The monitoring reveals that a number of implementers still allow slackness, red tape and even a formal approach. The State Control Committee will tighten control over the implementation of literally every instruction. While doing it, it will be guided by Presidential Directive No. 11 that provides for personal responsibility of managers and implementers for failure to fulfill the instructions.
