MINSK, 21 May (BelTA) - Valery Revenko, Chief of the International Military Cooperation Department, Aide for International Military Cooperation to the Belarusian Defense Minister, met with Major General Erlis Terdikbayev, First Deputy Minister of Defense of the Kyrgyz Republic, on the margins of the 12th edition of the international arms and defense technology expo MILEX 2025 in Minsk, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Defense Ministry.
The parties exchanged views on topical issues on the international agenda and discussed the current state of military cooperation.
The meeting touched upon the joint operational and combat training activities within the CSTO. This year the parties will participate in the joint operational and strategic exercise Combat Brotherhood 2025 to be held in Belarus.
Following the meeting, the parties reaffirmed commitment to furthering and deepening of relations between the defense ministries of Belarus and Kyrgyzstan.
