Belarus’ development program through 2030 aligns with constitutional priorities

MINSK, 24 January (BelTA) – All constitutional priorities are reflected in Belarus’ social and economic development program for 2026-2030, which was approved on 19 December 2025 at the session of the Belarusian People’s Congress, Deputy Chairwoman of the Constitutional Court of Belarus Natalya Karpovich said during a meeting with the teaching staff and students of the Uzda District Gymnasium, BelTA learned from the press service of the Constitutional Court of Belarus.

Natalya Karpovich spoke about the role of the Constitution of Belarus as the legal foundation of society and the state, affirming social justice, equality of rights and opportunities for everyone, and about the state’s activities to support the spiritual, moral, intellectual, and physical development of youth, facilitating the realization of their potential for the benefit of the entire society. This includes the continuous expansion of opportunities to receive quality education, guarantees of employment and housing solutions, as well as support measures for families with children, which are also aimed at young people. She also emphasized that for society and the state, educated and patriotic youth are a key strategic resource for constitutional development.

As a delegate of the 7th Belarusian People’s Congress, Natalya Karpovich highlighted the content of President Aleksandr Lukashenko’s Address to the Belarusian People and the National Assembly during the session, drawing the participants’ attention to the main message of the Address: A Time for Concrete Deeds.
“The participants were informed about the strategic tasks outlined by the head of state, the solution of which is necessary to strengthen the economic foundation of society and the state under modern conditions, ensure Belarus’ scientific and technological sovereignty, and meet people’s needs for further improvement of their quality of life and safety,” the press service noted.

Of particular interest to students were the provisions of the President’s Address on improving the quality of education, enhancing the training of a new generation through the education system, increasing the flexibility of the vocational education system, the state’s attention to solving issues of employment for young specialists and their housing conditions, as well as support for family values and protection of families with children.

Natalya Karpovich noted that all constitutional priorities and tasks contained in the President’s Address are reflected in Belarus’ social and economic development program for 2026-2030, adopted by the Belarusian People’s Congress on 19 December 2025.

The meeting also provided answers to numerous questions about the activities and powers of the Constitutional Court.

The deputy chairwoman of the Constitutional Court wished the teaching staff fruitful work and the students successful studies, so that in the foreseeable future they could choose a profession in demand on the labor market, receive training for it at Belarusian educational institutions, become qualified specialists, work and live with dignity in their homeland.
