Belarus’ customs: Lithuanian trucks entering Belarus from Russia are transported to designated locations

MINSK, 15 November (BelTA) - Lithuanian trucks entering Belarus from Russia are being escorted to designated locations, BelTA learned from the State Customs Committee.

Customs authorities continue to monitor Lithuanian trucks on the Belarusian territory. Full order has been restored on the roads. All vehicles that were awaiting departure to Lithuania on the roadside near the Kamenny Log and Benyakoni checkpoints have been relocated to designated places. In total, 1,370 trucks are currently parked across five secured parking areas. Necessary amenities (shops, hot meals, restrooms, shower facilities, laundry services) have been provided there for drivers who have not yet returned home.

The process of escorting Lithuanian vehicles entering Belarus from Russia to designated locations also continues. These trucks are being stationed at temporary storage warehouses of departmental customs clearance points across various regions of the country and remain under customs control. A total of 230 trucks have already been placed in these designated locations.
