MINSK, 14 December (BelTA) – Military-technical cooperation between Belarus and China has gained new substance, the State Authority for Military Industry announced following a working visit to China by a Belarusian delegation led by Chairman of the State Authority for Military Industry Dmitry Pantus, BelTA reports.
“During the visit, a number of high-level meetings and negotiations were held with the top management of Chinese defense companies and corporations. These talks with Chinese partners took place behind closed doors,” the report stated.
It noted that the parties, in a “traditionally friendly atmosphere,” compared notes on a broad range of cooperative areas, including space exploration.
Additionally, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between Belarus’ State Authority for Military Industry and China’s National Development and Reform Commission.
