MINSK, 12 November (BelTA) – The State Border Committee of Belarus has informed BelTA that approximately 3,000 cars are currently queued at the border, awaiting entry into Poland.
The busiest route for trucks to enter the European Union is via the Polish checkpoint Kukuryki (Kozlovichi on the Belarusian side), with 760 trucks queuing. Over the past 24 hours, the adjacent side has allowed 61% of the norm for trucks to pass.
Meanwhile, control services at the Latvian border crossing Paternieki (Grigorovshchina on the Belarusian side) have cleared just 29% of their vehicle quota, with 170 trucks currently awaiting entry into Latvia.
