MINSK, 13 January (BelTA) – For the West, the Slavic problem is not political, but biological, and this is one of the reasons why Western countries are preparing a new attack on the East, economist and analyst Serghei Banari said in the latest episode of the V Teme [On Point] project on BelTA’s YouTube channel.
“By bracing for and acknowledging a multipolar world order, they are simultaneously preparing a new attack on the East. This has always been the case and will continue to be so. And as long as we believe any one of them could be an ally, we will repeatedly find ourselves in the situation of ‘this has never happened before and here it is again,’” stated Serghei Banari. “It is time to wake up. It is time to remove the blinders of hamburgers, jeans, and Coca-Cola and face the truth. For them, the Slavic problem is not political, but biological. Any statement from Merz, Macron, or Kallas confirms precisely what I am saying.”

The expert further argued that international law is currently non-functional, a point he illustrated with recent examples from global politics. To substantiate this claim, he referenced a statement by US Secretary of State Marco Rubio concerning the United Nations. In September 2025, Rubio stated he was unconcerned about the UN’s reaction to the US military’s destruction of a narcotics-laden vessel in the Caribbean.

“This is a statement from the head of the US foreign policy agency. They admit that everything they have tried to instill globally is a priority only insofar as it benefits them. The moment it ceases to yield the desired results, they abandon it without hesitation,” Serghei Banari noted.

He also remarked that the US Secretary of State is, in essence, an employee of the Central Intelligence Agency. “And the CIA has always performed the functions of the US Department of State. That is how it has always been and how it will remain,” the analyst concluded.
